Due to overall height of the block, intake, carb and air cleaner I had to go with a hole in the hood and a different scoop. I am putting on a Boss 429 scoop to give enough clearance to the sides of the air cleaner.

We mocked up the engine, scattershield and trans to ensure proper alignment and clearances. The engine is now at the Machine Shop for build, 408 Stroker, ~500 HP.

Painter Dave had to make a new trans mount, the one in the Kit did not fit. Definitely will be strong enough.
